Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival Today is the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival so Johnny brought in some moon cakes for Room 7. They call these cakes 'Moon Cakes' because they look like a full moon. The other name for these cakes is 'Family Cakes' because families get together at this time and celebrate together. On the traditional Chinese calendar every 15th of the month the moon is full.
